Will we pick up and leave?
A second chance to do what I know is right
He is not so sure
He thinks it's the ends of the earth
He wants more money
He is afraid there aren't enough homes to choose from
His fears are real and valid and no balking here,
it's just that I think God is giving us a second chance
to make it right
To leave here and go where it is quiet at night
And where a trip to nature is no further than your backyard.
I think I am already mourning the fact that he'll probably decline the job again
More money or not, he is afraid
and fear is stronger than a titanium wall
closing us in this metropolitan hell.
