3-25-2004 - 1902 Remember running home after school? Racing your dog that last stretch of the block. No home work and no cares and the evil step-father was at work. Mom gives you a grape juice popsicle and let's you go play. And all the kids are out tonight. And it's cold and windy but sunny so you can sit on the sidewalk and soak up the concrete's warmth. Maybe you play tag, or olly olly oxen free. (Remember the olly tree?) Or maybe everyone's game and you play statues. But whose yard should we play on? Remember those days? Life was so awesome. And you knew that every moment you were enjoying it. One of the last truly happy times when you weren't wondering but-what-after-this? Ahhh spring. A dainty thing.
